Method and limits

The release includes districts with enrollment of at least 200 and an estimated average teacher salary between $30,000 and $200,000. That published comparison rule removes small-enrollment and service-agency artifacts that can make an enrollment-based ratio misleading. Each record identifies whether its salary figure uses a reported teacher headcount or the documented estimate.

These are comparative public-data measures, not a payroll file, contract schedule, take-home-pay estimate, or a claim about any individual teacher. Review the source and methodology before making consequential employment, budget, or policy decisions.
